Hotel ****S – Lucca - A medieval building dating back to 1540, has opened its doors to a four-star Hotel on four floors. In order to offer maximum comfort and to bring it into line with the needs of national and international tourism, great care has been taken over the furnishing and technology displayed in its 17 Junior Suites, 3 suites, 4 double rooms and 2 single rooms. The Hotel is situated “within the city walls”, a short distance from the historical town centre and the shopping area. A generous buffet is served every morning in the breakfast area; it is also possible to order light refreshments through our room service. The Hotel was constructed in 1857 and prior to this it was the Paoli Palace. Architect Pardini was in charge of its changeover from Palace to Hotel and he was renown for some of the most celebrated artistic renovations in Lucca, such as the Church of San Michele’s facade. Each one of its 56 elegant rooms has spectacular views: on one side you may admire the Cathedral, from the other the tree-lined Piazza Napoleone and opposite Piazza del Giglio.
